Book 2 in The Nick Andrews series

Now available in ebook and print on Amazon

Nick is recently returned from a reconnaissance mission behind the Iron Curtain where he observed the testing of a new Soviet tank when he is told that he must return to gauge the likelihood of a revolution in Hungary. He is reluctant to take on the mission inasmuch as he is not a spy and not used to mingling with people while operating in enemy territory. Although he has great facility with languages, he has never learned Hungarian and is only given three months to study it. His teacher, a Hungarian refugee begs a favor, to deliver a gift to her family in Budapest. Nick agrees even though he will have to navigate around his teacher's brother, a member of the Hungarian Secret Police. During his mission the revolution begins and Nick is sorely tempted to join the fighting but cannot risk being captured. Ultimately, he has no choice but to fight his way out of the country escorting a young woman and a newborn infant
